You’ll work within the **Customer Operations** pillar, building smaller features within a defined product area to help Sales and Customer Experience deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized experiences. This is an **entry point into production engineering**—you’ll learn how systems fit together, how features move from design review to release, and how emerging technologies (including **AI-assisted workflows**) are applied in real production environments under responsible data and privacy guidelines. Ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn, receptive to feedback, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and communicates proactively. **Your responsibilities** - Build and ship **small, well-scoped features** within an established codebase (with guidance). - Write and test code against **acceptance criteria**, including **unit tests** for positive and negative conditions. - Submit **clear, reviewable PRs**; review teammates’ code and use feedback to grow. - Collaborate with senior engineers on solution design and discuss tradeoffs. - Participate in **sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives,** and **technical design reviews**. - Communicate **progress, risks, and blockers early and often** (over-communicate). - Learn how **AI- and data-powered components** are used in production while following responsible data/privacy guidelines. - Write clearly in informal and formal mediums (Slack/email, Jira tickets, commit messages, PR descriptions). - Follow team standards for testing, documentation, monitoring, and operational readiness; make minor refactors to keep code clean. - Estimate your own tasks, seek mentorship, and partner with product managers to understand business impact. **About you** - Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering (or related) **or equivalent practical experience**. - **0–2 years** professional software engineering experience (including internships/co-ops), writing object-oriented code in production, coursework, or open-source. - Foundational OOP understanding (classes, interfaces, encapsulation, inheritance vs. composition) in an OOP language such as **TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or C#**. - Working understanding of **data structures and data modeling**; ability to break problems into well-named objects/methods/responsibilities. - Some exposure to **APIs** and working with a **relational database**. - Familiarity with **unit testing** (including stubbing/mocking) and willingness to b
