**Geneva Trading — Python Developer Intern (DevOps)** Founded in 1999, Geneva Trading is a global principal trading firm with offices in Chicago, Dublin, and London. You’ll work on projects that directly impact the firm, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in corporate training, teambuilding activities, and firmwide summer socials. The program is a proven path to full-time opportunities after graduation. --- ### As a Python Developer (Intern), you will: - Optimize existing scripting and tooling to implement nice-to-have features across the domain - Collaborate with Senior DevOps technologists to learn and offload project features - Gain hands-on experience with project planning, architecting, and modern CI/CD principles - Deploy, present, and experience your solutions in a mature trading system - Explore and integrate AI-driven tools (e.g., LLMs or coding assistants) to automate routine DevOps workflows and improve developer productivity - Develop Python scripts to interface with AI APIs for intelligent log analysis, anomaly detection, or system alerting --- ### Required Qualifications - Strong understanding of Python, including data structures and algorithms - Conceptual understanding of design patterns and scalable system architectures, defensive coding practices, and the ability to identify technical requirements and code design strategies - Basic familiarity/curiosity with the Linux operating system
