About this role
## Responsibilities - Support Peraton’s work advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) under the FAA’s BNATCS contract. - Coordinate activities to complete installation of situational displays at Air Traffic Facilities. - Provide supporting documentation for site-specific activities (e.g., site design documentation, site completion). - Comply with all FAA facility requirements (security, workspace availability) and professionally manage site staff relationships. - Ensure FAA National Airspace Systems are upgraded in a timely manner. ## Location & Travel - **Work Location:** 100% on-site in **Herndon, VA** - **Travel:** Up to **50%** to support deployments at **CONUS** and potentially **OCONUS** locations. ## Qualifications **Basic Qualifications** - **U.S. Citizenship Required** - Ability to obtain/maintain a **Public Trust clearance** - One of the following experience/education combinations: - **Bachelor’s + 12 years** - **Master’s + 10 years** - **Associate’s + 14 years** - **HS diploma/equivalent + 16 years** - Deployment coordination and/or project management experience with governmental customers - Hardware and software deployment/installation experience - Ability to travel up to **50%** (CONUS and potentially OCONUS) - Proficiency creating documents, network diagrams, and/or rack elevations using tools such as **Visio** and **Microsoft Office Suite** - Ability to lift/carry equipment up to **50 lbs** - Desktop support experience with **Windows** laptops **Preferred Qualifications** - Familiarity with **NAS architecture** and modernization initiatives (e.g., **NextGen**) - Experience supporting **FAA/DOT** or other aviation/transportation programs - **Red Hat Linux** experience ## Salary - **Target Range:** **$135,000 – $216,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including experience, education, location, and contract considerations) ## Notes - #BNATCS - EEO: Equal opportunity employer (including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law).
