**Coinbase — Specialist, Market Operations** Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? Coinbase is remote-first (remote-only not required). You’ll work with a team that runs 24/7 operations across two exchanges—Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit—supporting trading, clearing, and connectivity systems. ### What you’ll do - Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit. - Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology. - Provide front-line support for internal and external investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution. - Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments. - Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges (including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE). - Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth. ### Required skills & experience - BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field, plus **1+ years** of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role. - Hands-on product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options, including error trade analysis and resolution. - Proven ability to diagnose and clearly explain complex technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience delivering multi-channel support (voice, email, chat) while maintaining quality under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions. - Plus: familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, or CRM tools such as Salesforce and JIRA. - Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. ### Location / logistics - **#LI-Remote** - Coinbase is remote-first and meets quarterly for in-person “surges.” ### Pay transparency - **Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $112,965–$132,900 USD** ### Notes - Application limit: **maximum of 3 applications within a 6-month period**. - Coinbase is an **Equal Opportunity Employer**. - Accommodations available for applicants with disabilities (contact details provided in the original posting).
