Our solutions modernize, automate, secure, protect, and enhance operations for federal clients. --- ### Role Overview The **Technical Lead / Solution Architect** provides technical leadership for the design, development, modernization, integration, security, and lifecycle management of **enterprise applications** supporting mission-critical business operations. You will serve as the **principal technical authority** for the application portfolio—setting technical strategy, solution architecture, engineering standards, and modernization roadmaps to ensure delivery of **secure, scalable, cloud-based solutions**. **Location:** *Hybrid position based in Washington, DC.* --- ### Key Responsibilities #### Solution Architecture - Develop and maintain enterprise application architecture and technical roadmaps - Design secure, scalable, maintainable **cloud-native** architectures - Define application integration strategies, **API architectures**, and data flows - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, maintainability, and security - Produce current-state and future-state architecture documentation #### Technical Leadership - Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle - Establish software engineering standards, development methodologies, and coding best practices - Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews - Mentor developers and promote continuous technical improvement - Resolve complex technical issues and guide system design decisions #### Application Modernization - Lead modernization of legacy applications to modern cloud-based technologies - Support migration of applications and services to **Microsoft Azure Government** - Identify technical debt and develop modernization strategies - Recommend improvements to architecture, database design, security, and performance - Support **API-first** and service-oriented architectures #### Cloud & DevSecOps - Define cloud architecture and deployment strategies using **Microsoft Azure** - Support **CI/CD** pipelines and DevSecOps practices - Guide infrastructure automation and configuration management - Ensure secure software development practices throughout the lifecycle - Support release planning and deployment activities #### Security & Compliance - Ensure architectures comply with applicable Federal cybersecurity requirements - Support secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation - Provide technical support for **Authority to Operate (ATO)** activities - Support **Zero Trust**, identity management, and application security controls - Review designs for compliance with accessibility, privacy, and records management requirements #### Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with Government stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions - Provide technical recommendations during planning and prioritization - Support technical demonstrations, architecture briefings, and executive presentations - Assist with technical estimation, risk identification, and project planning --- ### Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informa
