Our solutions modernize, automate, secure, protect, and enhance the operations of our federal clients. --- ## Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) Program Manager A-TEK is seeking a **Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) Program Manager** to support a federal client. This is a high-level executive role responsible for establishing and maintaining the organization’s information security strategy and ensuring the protection of digital assets, data, and IT infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks. **Location:** On-site in **Rockville, MD** **Citizenship:** **US Citizenship required** --- ## Responsibilities - **Implementation:** Develop and execute the SOC strategic vision, including performance metrics and goals. Manage the SOC program in accordance with contract requirements, the management plan, and the work schedule. - Coordinate all SOC program task orders and operational activities. - Establish, document, and manage scope, schedule, and resource allocation for SOC projects and activities. - **Cybersecurity Strategy:** Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned to agency objectives and risk tolerance. - **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities; develop risk mitigation plans aligned with Department and Federal cybersecurity initiatives. - **Security Policies & Procedures:** Establish and manage the SOC, security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent and effective security practices. Ensure compliance with federal mandates and legislation, including **FISMA**, the President’s Management Agenda, **Executive Order: Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity**, and **CISA Emergency Directives**. - **Incident Response & Management:** Develop and lead incident response plans to address and resolve security breaches and cyber incidents. - **Security Awareness & Training:** Promote cybersecurity awareness and conduct training programs. - **Security Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, data protection laws, and other security requirements. - **Security Architecture & Technology:** Oversee selection, implementation, and management of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, encryption, intrusion detection). - **Reporting & Communication:** Communicate security matters regularly to the executive team, client/customer, and stakeholders. - **Continuous Monitoring & Improvement:** Monitor the security environment, stay current on emerging threats and industry trends, and continuously improve the organization’s security posture. --- ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in **IT, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field** - **US Citizenship required** - Experience overseeing the **CSOC security function** with the right controls, tools, technology, and visibility to respond effectively to threats - **Current CISSP certification is required** - **Current PMP certification is preferred** - Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (e.g., **NIST, ISO, CIS**) - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (**TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewalls**
