**Data Engineer** at Bedrock Robotics **About the Role** We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer to scale our rapidly growing Data Platform. You'll design and maintain robust data pipelines, enforce data quality standards, optimize for performance and cost, and expand monitoring coverage across our data infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflows • Define and enforce data quality standards, SLOs, and validation frameworks • Optimize existing pipelines for performance and cost efficiency • Expand monitoring and alerting coverage for data systems • Drive best practices in data modeling, partitioning, and resource utilization **Required Experience** • 5+ years in data engineering with large-scale data lake/warehouse experience • 5+ years with SQL and distributed query engines (Spark, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.) • Deep proficiency with pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent) • Experience designing data quality frameworks and validation systems • Familiarity with observability tooling for data systems • Experience enabling non-technical stakeholders with self-serve data infrastructure **Preferred Qualifications** • Hands-on Databricks and Spark experience • Streaming or near-real-time ingestion patterns • Data governance and access control at scale • Customer-facing data products or external SLA experience **About Bedrock** Bedrock is deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction equipment across the country.
