**Sr. Security Analyst** **About the Role** SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to support the Security Operations Center (SOC) as a frontline responder. You'll identify, triage, and remediate security detections while investigating incidents from detection through root cause analysis. **Key Responsibilities** • Support SOC operations by identifying and remediating security detections and anomalies • Provide incident response support investigating security incidents • Assist in evidence collection and collaborate with engineering teams • Develop detection capabilities targeting sophisticated attacker tactics and procedures • Enhance endpoint and network visibility with detection and response playbooks **Basic Qualifications** • 5+ years information security/networking/systems engineering experience + Bachelor's in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, IT, or STEM (or 7+ years experience without degree) • Experience with OS internals and auditing (Linux, Windows, or macOS) • Experience with network and host-based collection tools **Preferred Skills** • Deep understanding of threat actor TTPs and incident response processes • Experience with Elastic, Splunk, or other SIEMs • Scripting experience for security automation • Reverse engineering, C2 exploitation, or forensics experience • Security community contributions • Cloud infrastructure and security knowledge • SANS/GIAC, OSCP, or similar certifications **Requirements** • Onsite in Redmond, WA (no remote/hybrid) • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends • Travel may be required • ITAR eligibility required **Compensation** Level 3: $130,000 - $195,000 + stock options, bonuses, comprehensive benefits, 3 weeks PTO, 10+ paid holidays
