**Frontend Engineer** at Bedrock Robotics **About the Role** Build highly complex interfaces for cutting-edge robotics and autonomy systems. You'll establish core UI interactions and workflows that operators rely on daily, working on interfaces that mediate autonomous machines and user intentions. Own our software stack across browser and native environments, delivering ultra-low latency control over heavy machinery. **What You'll Do** • Establish core UI interactions, architecture, and workflows for operators and field teams • Architect complex interfaces visualizing multi-modal datasets (telemetry, video, 3D scenes, maps) in real time • Push performance limits of modern frontend frameworks across mobile OS • Own 0-to-1 design and implementation of frontend foundations (state management, components, async flows) • Partner with robotics and backend engineers to translate machine data into intuitive workflows **Required** • 6+ years designing and implementing complex, business-critical frontend applications • Deep expertise shipping iOS and Android apps • Strong understanding of network, memory management, and rendering performance • Experience with massive datasets, complex state, real-time streaming (WebSockets, WebRTC) • Product and systems thinking; ability to design from first principles • Comfort owning full software stacks in fast-paced startup environments **Preferred** • Performance optimization in native/cross-platform (Swift, Kotlin, React Native) • 3D visualization or rendering (WebGL/WebGPU, Three.js, CesiumJS) • Geospatial tooling or GIS systems experience • Ultra-low latency or real-time video streaming pipelines • UX design for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or teleoperation platforms **About Bedrock** Deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction equipment.
