More than 12,000 organizations worldwide rely on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to unify and democratize data, analytics and AI. **About the Team** The Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) team builds and operates engineering infrastructure that keeps Databricks' security control posture visible, measurable, and defensible. The team: • Continuously assesses whether security controls are working across cloud environments, SaaS platforms, identity systems, and enterprise applications • Turns control requirements into code and security posture into actionable intelligence • Maintains security tooling and scanning infrastructure for secret leaks, asset vulnerabilities, and SAST **The Role** You will lead the Continuous Monitoring team as a Senior Manager, owning the engineering function that measures whether Databricks' security controls are working across cloud infrastructure, identity, SaaS, and enterprise systems. **Key Responsibilities** **Team Building & People Leadership** • Hire strong Security Software Engineers and develop them into technical leaders • Set high standards for engineering quality, code review, and documentation • Build a team combining GRC domain knowledge with software engineering discipline **Control Measurement Program Ownership** • Own the strategy and roadmap for continuous monitoring platform • Prioritize controls whose failure would matter most to security posture • Ensure coverage keeps pace with business growth and new regulatory obligations • Reduce manual evidence collection and track automated control coverage targets **Posture Visibility & Executive Intelligence** • Own security posture dashboards and metrics for leadership visibility • Define and report on control coverage, drift, and remediation timelines • Present findings to senior leadership with risk implications and remediation effort **Cross-Functional Partnership** • Build relationships with GRC, Enterprise Security, Product Security, IT, Legal, and Engineering • Ensure monitoring output meets auditor and compliance standards • Coordinate execution across teams on cross-cutting initiatives **Technology Decisions** • Lead build-vs.-buy evaluations for CSPM, SSPM, GRC automation, and security tooling • Assess platforms on integration capability, measurement fidelity, and maintenance cost **What You'll Need** • Engineering management experience with technical depth to review security software work • Ability to prioritize controls where measurement reduces risk • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI DSS) • Strong cross-functional leadership and partnership skills
