With AI Agents embedded across the platform, teams can analyze, test, and optimize user experiences faster than ever. --- ## About the role Join the engineering team building the AI-native apps, agents, and tools that power Amplitude. This is an **AI-first, full-stack** role spanning the complete scope of the team’s work—delivering internal apps, data products, automations, and integrations for Finance, People Ops, Product Ops, Legal, HR, and more. You’ll use your engineering experience and fluency with frontier AI technologies to continuously improve both the systems we build and the way we build them—driving meaningful business impact across Amplitude’s critical functions. --- ## What you’ll do - Design and build **full-stack apps and tools** to solve high-leverage operational use cases across the business - Build **service connectors** so AI and automation tools can work across business systems - Evolve tools and processes to increase team velocity, simplify the technical stack, and leverage new AI-native approaches - Drive **end-to-end reconciliation** across financial systems (from quote to revenue recognition) to enable cross-system reporting and traceability - Own what you build across the **full software development lifecycle** --- ## What you’ll bring - **5+ years** engineering experience shipping and running production services - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, tools, and integrations - Enthusiasm for understanding new business problems, learning unfamiliar systems, and delivering improvements incrementally - Experience with **data warehouses** and **SQL-based systems** - Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and software designs - Experience with frontier AI tooling including **harnesses, MCP servers, and agents** - Curious, fast-learning across new domains as the business evolves - **Bias for action**: comfortable iterating quickly from prototypes to solutions --- ## Nice to have - Experience evaluating LLM systems using **eval harnesses**, regression suites, and accuracy tracking over time - Familiarity with **dbt**, **Snowflake**, or **medallion-style** warehouse architecture - Familiarity with business systems such as **NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Zip, Ramp, or Stripe** - Prior work as an internal-tools/solutions/platform engineer serving internal stakeholders --- ## Compensation & benefits (summary) This role is eligible for **equity, benefits, and other forms of compensation**.
