## Senior AI/ML Software Engineer ### Responsibilities - Support a large enterprise-wide engineering contract within the Intelligence Community (customer location; full-time, **1880 hours/year**) - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions and prototypes - Work in a **full-stack** environment with proficiency in **Linux** and **basic networking** - Customize access and interfaces with a **Large Language Model (LLM)** tailored for customer requirements and users - Use **Gradle/Java** and **Python** to design and build software applications - Gather and evaluate end-user and customer requirements - Write, test, debug, and deploy code - Perform code reviews to maintain quality - Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues - Contribute to project planning - Collaborate with product managers, developers, SMEs, and leadership on strategic initiatives - Design user interfaces accessible across the customer community - Explore **LLM/AI integration** opportunities - Design interfaces/bridges to external requirements management tools - Mentor junior software engineers ### Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in computer science or related discipline + **14 years** of experience as a software engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity - **4 additional years** of SWE experience on similar software processes may substitute for the bachelor’s degree - Must be compliant with **DoD 8570 IAT Level 2** - Requires an **active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph** - Selected applicants are subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ### Location - **Jessup, MD** ### Benefits / Compensation (Highlights) - Enhanced benefits for a critical National Security program - Heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage (you and dependents) - **25 days PTO** accrued annually (up to a generous cap) - Eligible for an attractive bonus plan - **Target salary range:** **$176,000 – $282,000** (varies by factors including experience, education, location, and contract considerations) ### Notes - EEO: Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law. #MDFSP #AJCM
