## Software Engineer, Analytics ### About the role Bayesian Health is an early-stage startup on a mission to make healthcare proactive by empowering physicians, nurses, and care team members with real-time data to save lives. In this role, you’ll lead the development of our clinical AI/ML product analytics infrastructure, frameworks, and tools—enabling client success and helping internal teams make better, insight-driven decisions. ### What you’ll do - **Product performance monitoring & optimization:** Build infrastructure, queries, and automation to monitor KPIs and success metrics across multiple clinical domains and clients. - **Clinical case review & investigation:** Create frameworks and tools to help the clinical team independently review and investigate cases and identify those needing further evaluation. - **Data platform & analytics foundations:** Propose and implement improvements to increase data platform scalability and strengthen team analytics capabilities. - **Cross-functional product analytics development:** Partner with Client Success, Clinical, Product, Data Science, and Engineering to align on company-level product analytics. ### Minimum qualifications - **BS** in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. - **5+ years** building scalable, secure analytics infrastructure and tools on a cloud platform (preferably **AWS**) to produce monitoring metrics and investigational data from complex models/queries. - Proficiency in **Python** and **SQL**. - Strong knowledge of modern data/analytics technologies (e.g., cloud data warehouses, **dbt**, workflow orchestration, **Tableau** or **Quicksight**) and ability to integrate with existing infrastructure. - Experience working with **sensitive data** containing **PHI/PII**. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across data science, product, and clinical teams. ### Preferred qualifications - Experience leveraging **LLMs** in distributed data processing and analytics systems. - Experience building analytics technology for **clinical/health data**. - Comfort working in ambiguity in a startup environment. ### Equal opportunity Bayesian Health is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
