Joining means working on a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up—where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. ## About the Team **Terrestrial Software** builds the foundation for an automated rocket factory and integrated launch platform—automating workflows across the Terran R lifecycle (from raw material intake to launch operations and beyond). The team partners across design, materials, manufacturing, test, and launch to deliver enterprise applications, industrial automation, data analytics infrastructure, and next-generation AI. **Factory Platform** builds tools that support design and manufacturing operations, including applications for analyzing test data, planning production schedules, managing supply chains, and providing real-time visibility into manufacturing. ## About the Role As a **Full Stack Software Engineer I** on the Factory Platform team, you’ll build applications that directly support design and manufacturing engineers. Examples include: - Automating analysis of telemetry data streaming from test stands - Streamlining supply chain and production planning processes - Creating dashboards for real-time visibility into manufacturing operations You’ll participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements → design → implementation → testing → deployment), working across the stack (front-end, back-end, and data pipelines) and iterating based on feedback from engineers and operators. ## About You (Requirements) - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace) - Strong CS foundations: data structures, algorithms, systems, and clean, testable code - 1+ years of professional software development experience (including internships/co-ops or substantial shipped academic/personal projects) - Experience building web applications with modern frameworks and languages - Comfortable working across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and data layers) - Eager to learn new technologies/tools to solve real problems - Excited to work directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor ## Nice to Haves (Not Required) - Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks - Familiarity with data engineering tools and working with large datasets - Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, test and measurement systems, or other physical-world domains - Experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or analytics tools - Contributions to open-source or experience shipping software products end-to-end ## Compensation & Benefits - **Hiring Range:** **$115,000 — $173,000 USD** - Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. - Total rewards include competitive salary and equity, generous PTO and sick leave, parental leave, an annual learning & development stipend, and more. ## Equal Opportunity Relativity Space is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
