**Design Engineer (Brand Team)** **About Baseten** Baseten powers mission-critical inference for dynamic AI companies like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. Recently raised $1.5B Series F led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. **The Role** Own baseten.co day-to-day—from concept through production. Design and build landing pages, bring product launches to life, run experiments, and improve conversion. High-ownership role sitting between brand design and frontend engineering. **Key Responsibilities** • Own design and frontend implementation of the marketing site • Ship landing pages, product pages, launches, and campaigns • Continuously improve the site with data-driven decisions • Partner with growth, product marketing, engineering, and leadership • Build polished interactions, motion, and details • Develop components, patterns, and design systems • Turn complex technical products into clear web experiences • Prototype ambitious interactive ideas **Requirements** • Fluency in React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript • Move from Figma into code and own production results • Deep attention to typography, layout, interaction, motion, responsiveness • Systems thinking with reusable components experience • Comfort experimenting and iterating with data • Interest in technical products and clear communication • Strong opinions about web design **Nice to Have** • Motion design, animation, or WebGL experience • Three.js, React Three Fiber, shaders, or creative coding • Developer-focused or technical website experience • DatoCMS experience **Benefits** • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity • 100% medical, dental, vision coverage (U.S.) • Flexible PTO + company Winter Break • Paid parental leave • Fertility and family-building stipend • 401(k) facilitation (U.S.) • Exposure to ML startup ecosystem **Equal Opportunity Employer** — Baseten is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
