Recently raised $1.5B Series F. **The Role** We're seeking a seasoned Frontend Engineer to craft performant and delightful user experiences across Baseten's core platform. You'll own critical parts of our web application stack and collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and maintain responsive, accessible frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript • Collaborate with product designers to turn complex ideas into elegant UIs • Optimize application performance with focus on rendering speed and responsiveness • Drive major frontend initiatives and partner with backend teams on API design • Establish best practices and mentor other engineers • Build reusable component libraries and frontend infrastructure **Requirements** • 5+ years building production-grade web applications • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web development tooling • Track record of building well-crafted, performant, scalable UIs • Strong product intuition and user experience empathy • Experience in cross-functional product teams in fast-paced environments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Nice to Have** • Tailwind CSS, Next.js, or modern frontend frameworks • Developer tools or data/ML infrastructure background • WebSockets, real-time data, or custom visualization experience • Open-source contributions **Benefits** • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity • 100% medical, dental, vision coverage (U.S.) • Flexible PTO + company Winter Break • Paid parental leave • Family-building stipend • 401(k) (U.S.) **Equal Opportunity Employer**
