Based in SoHo, NYC. **Your Role** • Founding member of Infrastructure & Security team • Own SOC 2 Type II compliance, security controls, and audit readiness • Design comprehensive observability systems (logging, monitoring, alerting, distributed tracing) • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code • Optimize system performance, latency, and cost efficiency • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (networking, security, IAM, compliance) **Required** • Strong AWS experience (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM) • Security best practices & compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) • Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) • Networking, security principles, encryption • Observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch) • Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) **Preferred** • Secrets management, key rotation, encryption • Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, incident response • Disaster recovery & business continuity • Fintech or early-stage tech experience • Kotlin backends, Temporal workflow orchestration **Cultural Fit** Pragmatic problem-solver passionate about social impact.
