**Enterprise Architect - Business Systems (Internal)** **About the Role:** Join Formlabs as a hands-on Solutions Architect within the Systems Department, reporting directly to the CIO. You'll be a strategic technical leader with a "builder" mindset, ensuring cohesive strategy for tech stack, integrations, and engineering principles. Act as a consultative partner to Digital, Financial, and Data systems teams on complex initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** • **Architecture & Strategy** – Define go-forward technology strategy for core platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Shopify) and custom applications • **Solution Design** – Partner with delivery teams to design scalable, secure solutions for eCommerce migration and ERP optimizations • **Hands-on Engineering** – Build proofs-of-concept and establish patterns using Python, GCP, and containerized applications • **Integration Governance** – Own technical decision-making and trade-offs for long-term system stability • **Engineering Principles** – Establish standards for custom applications and automations • **Automation Tech** – Lead discovery and adoption of AI workflows and modern integration middleware **What We're Looking For:** • Hybrid technical background: Software Engineering (Python, API design) + Enterprise Systems experience • Proven enterprise integration patterns and middleware strategy expertise • Deep hands-on experience with GCP (or AWS/Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes • Functional and technical familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Shopify • Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge (BigQuery experience a plus) • Consultative yet decisive leadership style • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field **Bonus Skills:** AI tooling implementation • Gearset/Salesforce DevOps • Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, Airbyte) • Security architecture **Location & Schedule:** Somerville, MA | Hybrid (3+ days/week in office) **Compensation:** $140,000 – $200,000 USD base + equity (RSUs) **Benefits:** Equity program • Comprehensive healthcare • 401K with advisors • Up to 16 weeks parental leave • Up to 6 weeks sabbatical • Flexible PTO • Free parking & commuter benefits • On-site meals & snacks • Professional development • Culture events **Equal Opportunity Employer** – We value diversity and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
