## Insider Risk Analyst ### Responsibilities - Develop, monitor, and evolve corporate insider risk detections; identify high-risk behavior. - Correlate technical and non-technical data sources to enable proactive insider risk detection (e.g., UAM, UBA, DLP, SIEM). - Provide analytical and investigative support to internal counterintelligence and insider risk mitigation efforts. - Conduct interviews of persons of interest and gather information to support investigations. - Prepare and deliver reports with metrics and data visualizations to communicate findings, trends, and patterns. - Develop recommendations to remediate threat discoveries and implement proactive measures to improve security. - Support insider risk and counterintelligence program activities, including security awareness, training, and education. - Provide briefings to stakeholders and senior leaders using metrics and analysis. - Maintain an all-source approach using internal and external tools/data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. ### Qualifications - 0 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. - BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent degree. - Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. - Basic understanding of insider risk and counterintelligence activities (e.g., data theft, espionage, fraud, sabotage, unintentional incidents, workplace violence). - Familiarity with insider risk detection technologies (UAM, UBA, SIEM, DLP). - Ability to interpret data and analyze non-technical data feeds to uncover anomalies. - Basic knowledge of CSOC (or similar) methodology, including threat monitoring, intrusion detection, incident response, and remediation. - Ability to conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysis. - Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills; ability to manage competing deadlines. - Curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies to improve program effectiveness. - Must be a U.S. citizen. ### Preferred Skills - Proficiency in one or more: Python, C#, C++, Perl, Java. - Experience analyzing, cleaning, transforming, and manipulating data. - Experience working in an unclassified managed attribution environment. - Prior experience in a SOC or NOC. - Certified or able to become certified in Security+ and/or Network+. ### Compensation (Target) - **$51,000 – $82,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including experience, education, location, and contract/business considerations). - May include overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus (depending on position). ### Company Peraton is a next-generation national security company providing mission-focused solutions across land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. *EEO: Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law.*
