**Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Product Security** **About Anduril Industries** Anduril is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The Sentry Tower Software team develops robotic systems providing force protection capabilities for secure perimeters. **About the Role** Own product security for the Sentry Tower platform—a hardware-and-software problem where physical access threats are realistic. You'll manage the trusted boot chain, runtime hardening, and fleet vulnerability management across NVIDIA Jetson compute generations. **Key Responsibilities** • Own signed boot chain: firmware/bootloader signing, UEFI Secure Boot, signed kernels, full-disk encryption • Manage signing keys: HSM-backed keys, dev/prod trust roots, key rotation, build-time enforcement • Define hardening postures: network exposure, firewall policy, privilege restrictions, serial/USB lockdown • Drive vulnerability management: CVE tracking, patching strategy for end-of-life hardware, fleet security state • Partner with product security org on requirements, implementation, and accreditation efforts **Required Qualifications** • 4+ years professional software engineering with security focus on Linux/embedded systems • Hands-on secure boot chain implementation experience • Practical cryptographic engineering: PKI, HSM/PKCS#11, key lifecycle, full-disk encryption • Strong Linux internals knowledge: patching, boot flow, kernel, systemd, privilege boundaries • Proficiency in C or Rust; fluent in shell • Hardening and vulnerability management on real systems • Ability to communicate security decisions to engineers and stakeholders • US person status required; Active or previously granted Secret clearance eligible for reactivation **Nice to Have** • NVIDIA Jetson or SoC vendor secure boot experience • Measured boot, TPMs, or remote attestation familiarity • Declarative configuration/reproducible builds (Nix/NixOS, Bazel, Buildroot, Yocto) • Defense or government accreditation background • Offensive security/hardware attack experience • Supply chain security or SBOM tooling experience **Compensation** $220,000 – $292,000 USD + competitive equity and top-tier benefits
