## Software Engineer, Application Integration ### About the role We’re a rapidly growing startup on a mission to make healthcare proactive by empowering physicians, nurses, and care team members with real-time data to save lives. You’ll build the bridge between massive, complex Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the Bayesian platform—delivering critical, real-time insights to help clinicians make better decisions at the point of care. ### What you’ll do - **Clinical Workflow Integration:** Extend and configure the full-stack application across the EHR integration surface, coordinating with client EHR and clinical informatics teams to deliver Bayesian’s clinical insights to clinicians. - **Integration Testing & Troubleshooting:** Implement automated integration tests and partner with client technical teams and frontline clinicians to investigate and resolve issues. - **Production Deployment & Go-Live:** Execute deployments with the client’s technical team, ensuring configurations and builds are promoted to production for a seamless launch. During go-live week, serve as the technical point of contact for integration issues and provide clear status updates. - **Integration Tooling & Automation:** Develop frameworks and tooling (including leveraging LLMs and automation) to increase the efficiency and velocity of platform integrations as we scale. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work with an Implementation Lead, Clinical Integration, and client technical teams to align your technical workstream with the overall integration effort. ### Minimum qualifications - BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - 3+ years building and deploying full-stack applications in production, including integration with external APIs (**React, TypeScript preferred**) - Strong ability to investigate and resolve application issues end-to-end - Experience with cloud solutions (**AWS, Azure, etc.**) and relational databases (**PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.**) in production - Experience writing automated integration and end-to-end tests for production systems - Strong communicator who can collaborate across functions and align with stakeholders (including Product Managers) ### Preferred qualifications - Experience building EHR-embedded applications such as **SMART on FHIR**, **CDS Hooks**, or **Epic launch** integrations - Experience rolling out production deployments and supporting systems through go-live (e.g., on-call/support rotation), including triaging production issues - Experience working with enterprise customers - Experience building internal tooling/automation, including leveraging LLMs, to improve engineering velocity ### Equal opportunity Bayesian Health provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
