You’ll help build web and mobile experiences that make refurbished technology easier to **discover, compare, trust, and purchase**. As a **Senior Software Engineer (Frontend-focused)**, you’ll primarily own **frontend engineering**, while using your full-stack capabilities to design APIs, contribute to backend services, and deliver end-to-end features. You’ll work with product managers, designers, frontend/backend engineers, mobile engineers, data partners, and other technical teams to turn customer needs into **simple, scalable, measurable** product experiences. ### Example areas you may work on - Deals discovery - Product pages - Promotions - Cart & checkout improvements - Order tracking - Features that increase customer confidence when choosing refurbished tech ## What you’ll do (missions) - Own frontend features end-to-end: technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, monitoring, and iteration - Build responsive, accessible, reliable web experiences using **JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3** - Develop server-side-rendered experiences (browser behavior, network performance, caching, hydration, resilience) - Create reusable interfaces using component libraries and established design patterns - Improve web performance, accessibility, internationalization, and overall frontend quality - Translate customer insights into product experiences - Support experimentation via feature flags, instrumentation, controlled rollouts, and data-informed iteration - Partner with backend engineers on API contracts and integrate services built with **Python and Go** - Contribute targeted backend changes when needed for complete end-to-end features - Use product analytics and observability to understand behavior, identify issues, and guide improvements - Write and maintain tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, visual regression, accessibility) - Deliver high-quality, non-disruptive releases; participate in incident response/on-call as appropriate - Write maintainable code and provide thoughtful code reviews - Share knowledge via documentation and technical discussions - Own technical projects, manage dependencies, and balance impact with delivery timelines ## Tech stack **Backend:** Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery), Golang, Django (being phased out) **Frontend:** Vue.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, Revolve (design system) **Data:** PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, BigQuery **Infrastructure:** GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Datadog, ArgoCD, CircleCI, GitHub ## Required skills & experience - **5+ years** professional software engineering experience, with strong production frontend experience - Strong proficiency in **JavaScript & TypeScript** - Modern frontend framework experience (Vue/React or similar). **Vue 3 + Nuxt 3 strongly preferred** - Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, routing, API integration, and browser fundamentals - Experience building responsive and accessible UIs (HTML/CSS) - Understanding of SSR, frontend performance, caching, and web app behavior - Experience delivering production features with attention to accessibility, SEO, internationalization,
