As part of the Platform Department, you’ll translate Cyber and IT strategy into an **organisation-wide cybersecurity architecture** across business processes, applications, data, and infrastructure. ### What you’ll do - Analyze business needs from an architectural perspective and translate them into coherent, performant ICT solutions - Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate, and adjust the architecture to ensure alignment across projects and development - Present recommendations and translate them into executable roadmaps - Create secure architecture patterns for complex, large technology environments with stakeholders - Identify and specify implementation modalities for existing and new technologies ### Architecture & governance (business + IT bridge) - Provide guidance on enterprise architecture and systems processing across data, application, integration, security, and technology - Promote continuous improvement of architecture methodologies - Propose IT improvements with a focus on cost efficiency and functionality - Reconcile conflicting requirements and functions to find appropriate technological solutions - Facilitate and lead substantive decision-making within project teams - Ensure decisions are made with solid governance and defined validation mechanisms - Stay current with IT architecture evolutions and relevant technologies, assessing usability within Back Market ### Security responsibilities - Conduct technical risk analyses to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across systems, applications, architectures, and initiatives - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into design and implementation phases - Translate high-level security policies (from the GRC team) into detailed technical solutions - Ensure new and existing projects comply with the latest security standards and practices - Design and recommend security standards, security architecture principles, and technical requirements ### What makes you a great fit - **10+ years** of experience in security and tech, including **enterprise security architecture** experience - Strong focus on delivering architecture deliverables - Analytical mindset to understand complex business models and translate them into secure patterns, designs, and system requirements - Ability to communicate simply and transparently, aligning technical complexity to target architecture - Strong advisory skills to convince management of necessary evolutions - Comfortable staying close to implementation details and partnering with technical teams - Values documentation and clear communication ### Requirements & qualifications - In-depth knowledge of **GCP** - **Security by design / Zero Trust / Defense in depth** - IA security experience (e.g., **MCP, Claude, Opencode**, etc.) - Security of **MAC endpoints** - Expertise in **IAM** (e.g., **Okta**) and related standards - Familiarity with compliance and industry standards such as **GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST** ### Hiring process - Visio call with TA — 45 min - Technical interview — 60 min - Meet your team — 45 min - Stakeholder interview — 45 min - Meet the Staff community — 30 min - BM Values interview — 45 min ### Why join Back Market? - Impact-driven work with real contribution to the plan
