We’re looking for a **Senior Full Stack Engineer** for the **Notetaker** group. You’ll report to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in designing and supporting the core features and architecture behind **Calendly’s AI Notetaker** and **meeting recaps**. **A day in the life of a Full Stack Engineer at Calendly** The Notetaker is built on a modern, service-based architecture and is scaling rapidly, targeting significant further growth over the course of **2026**. You’ll build new features and help scale the platform and architecture, including tooling and automation to improve delivery as you grow into a service-oriented specialist. You’ll work with technologies such as **Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Node.js, React, Go (Golang), PostgreSQL, and Redis** (and more). On a typical day, you will: - Collaborate to build new features that expand Notetaker functionality and add support for additional user types - Contribute to platform scaling initiatives - Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements - Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan and deliver - Work across squads to improve engineering practices - Review implementation plans and pull requests - Mentor and coach other team members **What do we need from you?** - **7+ years** of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company - Professional experience with **Node** (preferred); **React** or a comparable UI framework (desirable) - Professional experience with **TypeScript** - Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs - Hands-on experience with **Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA)**, **microservices**, and product-scaling initiatives - Proven ability to own features end-to-end (discovery, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance) - Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., **Copilot, Cursor**) with the ability to understand and defend generated code/choices - Availability for **on-call rotation** to respond to business-critical alerts outside regular hours - Authorized to work lawfully in the **United States** (Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time) **Compensation (Annual Base Salary Range)** - **Tier 1:** $224,400 — $271,920 USD - **Tier 2:** $205,700 — $249,260 USD - **Tier 3:** $187,000 — $226,600 USD Base salary is subject to change and depends on factors including experience, skills, interview performance, and location/pay equity.
