About this role
**Responsibilities** - Support system integration activities across **hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and operational mission environments** - Assist with **deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment** of integrated mission systems and enterprise capabilities - Coordinate integration efforts across **systems engineering, software development, cybersecurity, operations**, and external stakeholders - Support **verification & validation**, integration testing, operational assessments, and readiness evaluations - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to **interoperability, configuration, performance, and operational effectiveness** in complex environments - Help implement and maintain **CI/CD and DevSecOps** integration processes (where applicable) - Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., **integration procedures, architecture diagrams, interface documentation, operational support materials**) - Participate in **Agile** activities (sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical reviews, release planning) - Support **configuration management, change management, and technical baseline** activities - Contribute to **system modernization** and technology refresh initiatives - Assist with **root cause analysis, incident response, and operational problem resolution** - Drive continuous improvement focused on **reliability, scalability, maintainability, and mission effectiveness** **Qualifications** - **Required:** Bachelor’s degree with **5+ years** relevant experience, or Master’s degree with **3+ years** relevant experience (additional **4 years** experience may substitute for degree) - **Security:** Minimum active **Secret clearance** with eligibility to obtain **Top Secret** after joining - Experience supporting systems integration in **DoD / Intelligence Community / space / missile defense / command-and-control** environments - Experience integrating and troubleshooting **hardware, software, networking, and operational mission systems** in operational or classified environments - Familiarity with **Linux and/or Windows** - Familiarity with **systems engineering, integration testing, and deployment** processes - Experience supporting **Agile** development and/or **DevSecOps** environments - Ability to collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, software development, and operations teams **Desired Qualifications** - **Active Top Secret clearance** - Experience supporting **NORAD, USSPACECOM, Space Force**, missile warning, or space domain awareness missions - Experience with **satellite ground systems**, command-and-control systems, or enterprise mission systems - Familiarity with virtualization/containerization/orchestration (e.g., **VMware, Docker, Kubernetes**) - Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and tools such as **GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible** (or similar) - Familiarity with networking concepts, system administration, and enterprise infrastructure - Experience supporting integration and test activities in **classified operational environments** - Familiarity with **Jira, Confluence, GitLab** (or related tools) - **Security+** or other **DoD 8140/8570**-compliant certification preferred **About the Role / Program Context** - Support NORAD and USSPACECOM mission systems within the **Cheyenne Mountain Complex** environment, including integration, modernization, testing, deployment, and sustainment of mission-critical capabilities through **2030 and beyond**. **Peraton Overview** -
