## Cyber Operations SME ### Responsibilities - Plan, coordinate, deploy, and support cyber operations in complex operational environments. - Conduct research across multiple sources to identify, assess, and synthesize relevant data supporting operational objectives. - Gather and analyze target information to develop effective approaches for achieving cyber operational objectives. - Perform network analysis and exploitation activities in support of operational requirements. - Evaluate collected information and intelligence to identify opportunities, gaps, risks, and areas needing additional collection or analysis. - Develop and implement approaches to improve and enhance cyber operations based on findings. - Support risk and strategy management, including identifying operational risks and developing mitigation strategies. - Oversee and evaluate collection activities to ensure alignment with operational objectives and priorities. - Produce high-quality cyber operations products (technical/operational assessments, reports, and mission-focused deliverables). - Develop and deliver operational briefings to technical teams, leadership, customers, and other stakeholders. - Conduct outreach and maintain communication to support operational coordination and information sharing. - Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, actionable findings for diverse audiences. - Collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, technical personnel, and leadership to support mission objectives. ### Qualifications - TS/SCI level clearance with relevant polygraph. - Experience requirements: - 12+ years with BS/BA - 10+ years with MS/MA - 7+ years with Ph.D - Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. - Expert-level experience in cyber operations in one or more areas: - Cyber deployment and operations - Cyber risk and strategy management - Network analysis and exploitation - Demonstrated experience researching and synthesizing information from multiple sources to identify relevant data for cyber operations. - Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing target information to develop effective cyber operation approaches. - Demonstrated experience evaluating collection activities and results to enhance, inform, and oversee cyber operations. - Demonstrated experience developing and delivering cyber operations products and operational briefings. - Ability to communicate effectively and conduct outreach with technical and senior-level stakeholders. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in complex, mission-focused operational environments. ### Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company delivering mission capability across the globe, supporting government agencies and the U.S. armed forces. ### Target Salary Range - **$176,000 – $282,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and contract considerations). - May include eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus (depending on position). ### EEO Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law.
