**Waymo — 2027 Summer Intern (BS/MS), Scenes** Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with a mission to be the world’s most trusted driver. Waymo’s fully autonomous Waymo Driver powers its ride-hail service and is built to improve access to mobility while saving lives. **Software Engineering** builds the brains of Waymo’s autonomous driving technology—enabling the system to perceive the world, make decisions, and deliver people safely to their destinations. **What you will do** - Launch features that directly improve Waymo’s driving behavior in highly dynamic and challenging environments. - Work closely with onboard engineers to apply the latest techniques to integrate and validate large ML models in real-time production systems. **What you have** - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience with **C++** and **Python**. - Strong understanding of data structures and problem-solving. **What we prefer** - Experience applying machine learning to solve computer vision, motion planning, or related robotics problems. - Experience with data structures, algorithms, etc. - Experience using core machine learning concepts. **Notes** - This is a **hybrid onsite** internship. - Resumes are accepted on a **rolling basis** until the role is filled. - To be considered for multiple roles, apply to each one individually (please apply to the top 3 roles you’re interested in). **Pay (Hourly)** - **Bachelors:** $60/hr - **Masters:** $70/hr
