Global remote company with offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Lisbon, Portugal. **The Role** Architect, develop, and implement next-generation infrastructure platforms across private and public clouds. Build robust, scalable hybrid environments integrating bare-metal, virtualization, and orchestration technologies. Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence across Quicknode's infrastructure ecosystem. **What You'll Do** • Research, architect, and deploy complex infrastructure systems (bare-metal, hypervisors, orchestrators, VMs, containers) • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible, Consul) • Establish infrastructure standards, documentation, and architecture diagrams • Partner with Technical Operations, CloudOps, and Platform teams • Optimize resource allocation and infrastructure cost efficiency • Improve resilience through capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and modernization **What You'll Bring** • 5+ years in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering • Deep Linux/Unix expertise • Experience designing hybrid cloud and traditional infrastructure at scale • Hands-on automation and CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, Consul, Jenkins) • Observability/monitoring platforms (Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, DataDog) • Programming in Python, Go, or JavaScript • Strong infrastructure architecture knowledge (scalability, redundancy, fault tolerance, cost optimization) • Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes) • Networking fundamentals across cloud and datacenter environments • Proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication skills **Equal Opportunity Employer**
