About this role
**Nanopath — Software Development Co-op (Jan ’27 Start)** Nanopath is developing a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform to transform how diseases are diagnosed. We aim to replace lengthy molecular testing workflows by bringing rapid, high-quality diagnostics closer to the patient—delivering actionable results within a single office visit. **About the Role** - Support and manage software engineering tasks including motor control, driver development, board re-work, test harness development, and code review. - Participate in critical team discussions, meetings, and presentations (co-ops are given important projects!). - Work directly with a tight-knit team of scientists and engineers to drive the product forward. - Learn more about cutting-edge biophysics and interdisciplinary medtech development. **Qualifications** - Current enrollment in a relevant academic program (undergraduate or graduate). - Ability to commit to **15+ weeks of full-time, onsite work** in **Cambridge, MA**. - **Sophomore or above** with demonstrated experience via past internships or research projects. - Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly organized with curiosity, scientific rigor, and creative problem-solving. - Proactive self-starter who enjoys adapting in a fast-paced startup environment. - Passion for technology translation and willingness to help shape Nanopath’s future. **Role Details** - Full-time, onsite in **Cambridge, MA** - Starting **early January** - Duration: **no less than 5 months** *Don’t meet every requirement?
