**Cloud System Administrator** **About the role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud System Administrator with Microsoft Windows and Linux administration experience to support a cloud environment for a mission-focused team. You’ll help sustain and troubleshoot systems across the full IT project lifecycle, working in an automated cloud environment leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and controlled data flows. **What you’ll do** - Debug and enhance/modify Ansible scripts to deploy IaC and CaC - Patch and restart instances from enterprise patching repositories (YUM, WSUS) - Set/configure/modify IAM policies to enable customer role-based access to workload IS - Integrate and implement platform capabilities (e.g., Nessus endpoint) in workload - Select and configure AMIs to optimize workload - Coordinate with team members to implement capabilities that meet customer requirements - Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, networking, cloud services, and software - Perform Active Directory administration and Group Policy management - Apply DoD STIGs as needed - Run Nessus scans and remediate vulnerabilities - Follow configuration management and engineering life-cycle best practices - Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and document system configurations (Win 2016/2019 & RHEL 7/8) - Harden systems to meet security standards - Maintain COTS & GOTS software - Sustain production systems (e.g., firewalls, file servers, security monitoring systems) - Interface with customers in writing and by phone to provide technical guidance **What you’ll need** - 2 years of general systems administration experience with progressive responsibilities - 2 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 4 years of equivalent professional/military experience - 8570 IAT Level II compliant certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) **Bonus points if you have** - Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash scripting experience - DevSecOps experience (configuration management, automation, and IaC concepts) - Jira Service Management & JQL - Microsoft Identity and Access Management configuration experience - Group Policy Object management experience - Knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI infrastructure - Strong communication and organizational skills **Clearance** - Active Top Secret security clearance **Pay range (where applicable)** - **$86,400 – $176,200 USD**
