You’ll work **full-stack** on long-horizon agents, ship features that do real audit work, and collaborate closely with practitioners. Depending on experience and what you want to own, you may: - Build within a major agent area - Own an end-to-end slice - Set technical direction for agentic audit work across the team We’re hiring across all levels and will calibrate scope during interviews. --- ## What You’ll Do - **Design and build agent-driven experiences** for **SOX control testing**, deciding where autonomy makes sense and where the auditor stays in the loop - **Own complex, end-to-end workstreams** across the full stack - Make **long agentic runs trustworthy**: improve **reliability, repeatability, performance, and observability** so the same evidence leads to the same defensible conclusion - Turn agent output into **finished audit deliverables**, including **structured workpapers** that adapt to firm templates - **Ship code from day one** and ramp quickly into full ownership of significant product areas - Collaborate daily with **PMs, designers, and SOX subject matter experts** on difficult domain problems - Help shape technical direction for **agentic systems, AI tooling, and engineering best practices** ### Higher-Level Responsibilities **Senior (may include):** - Lead complex projects/systems; set technical direction and ensure long-term health - Collaborate on roadmaps and architectural tradeoffs - Serve as a domain expert (e.g., agent orchestration, evaluation/quality, document processing, frontend architecture) - Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar **Staff (may include):** - Drive company-level technical initiatives; influence cross-team architecture - Set and champion standards for scalability, security, and performance - Partner with engineering/product leadership on long-term technical strategy - Act as a trusted advisor across Engineering, Product, and Design - Represent Fieldguide externally via writing, speaking, and open-source --- ## Who You Are (All Levels) - A strong **full-stack engineer** who writes code every day - Built with **LLMs in production** (not just prototypes) - Understand what breaks when real users and real documents meet an agent - Comfortable in **ambiguous, fast-moving environments** where you figure things out as you go - Excited by **0→1** work (define the problem, not just inherit a spec) - High ownership; you don’t wait to be told what to do - A genuine team player across the organization (work directly with PM/design/domain experts and treat that as a strength) - Can pick up complex domain concepts quickly (you don’t need
