You’ve built scalable production web applications (Python/Django/Next.js/React) and understand how LLM applications work—context, tool calling, evaluation, and failure modes. You care deeply about quality, impact, and teamwork. You have AWS (or other cloud) experience and use AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows, code quality, and productivity. ## What you get to do every day - Build and ship features for the AI Assistant and Orchestration products (agents, tools, and approval steps) - Add eval cases for AI behavior to catch quality regressions before release - Learn the AlertMedia platform and how it’s used by customers - Work with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and other web technologies - Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Codex, and other emerging platforms to support development and productivity - Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack - Contribute to AlertMedia’s technical leadership through innovative development and new product ideas - Use strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with engineering and product teams - Help shape AlertMedia’s culture, values, and future vision ## What you bring to the role - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred) - 6+ years building scalable web applications (Python/Django/React/Node preferred) - Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features (agents, tool/function calling, MCP or similar integrations, retrieval, prompt/model evaluation) - Familiarity with agentic design patterns/frameworks (Strands, AutoGen, LangChain, etc.) - Amazon Web Services (or other cloud) experience (required) - PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies (required) - Established practice of writing unit and integration tests - Proficiency using AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar) across the development lifecycle - Collaborative mindset to partner with principal engineers and leadership on architectural evolution - Experience troubleshooting and remediating production issues - Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects in parallel - Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment - Outstanding cross-functional communication skills - Strong English proficiency (written and oral) (required)
