**ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate.** We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life—surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. --- ## About the Role As a **Software Engineer III** on the **Developer Productivity** team, you’ll help build systems on our **Python-based agentic platform** that turn inputs such as **Jira tickets, Slack conversations, help-desk requests, and CRM signals** into **clearly scoped, human-supervised engineering work**—then help implement, review, and improve that work. You’ll contribute to systems that: - Clarify problem statements - Generate implementation plans - Run a conversational **Slack intake** experience - Assist engineers with repository discovery, plan execution, testing, and pull request creation You’ll also help build platform behaviors—**permissions, auditability, evaluation, observability, rollback, and cost controls**—so agentic workflows are dependable at scale. The Developer Productivity team owns the tooling, automation, and standards that make engineers across ZoomInfo more productive, and is becoming the company’s center of gravity for **AI-assisted development**. --- ## What You’ll Do - Design and build systems that convert bug reports and feature requests into clarified problem statements, implementation plans, and approval gates before execution - Build a conversational Slack intake experience that notifies the right people, asks targeted follow-up questions, converts confirmed requirements into Jira, and hands work to the delivery workflow - Normalize additional sources of demand (e.g., help desk, Salesforce, operational alerts) while preserving provenance, urgency, ownership, and customer context - Build tooling to assist engineers with implementation: repository discovery, plan execution, automated testing, pull request creation, and concise evidence of what changed - Contribute to automated pull request review for correctness, regressions, test coverage, maintainability, and policy concerns—while keeping merge approval with people - Help build platform behaviors that make agentic workflows dependable (permissions, auditability, evaluation, observability, rollback, cost controls) - Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and improve code quality - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices - Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with teammates - Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed, agentic systems --- ## What You Bring ### Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience - **3–5 years** of backend software development experience with strong proficiency in **TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js** - Experience designing and troubleshooting **distributed systems** - Experience with **RESTful API design** and **microservices architecture** - Proficiency with **relational and NoSQL databases** (e.g., MongoDB) - Familiarity integrating third-party APIs (e.g., Jira, Slack, Salesforce) - Experience with cloud platforms (**AWS, GCP, or Azure**) ### Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering - Hands-on experience building or working with **LLM-based or agentic systems** (agent orchestration, tool-calling, evaluation fram
