**At Braze**, we’re looking for a **Senior Software Engineer II (Full-Stack)** to join our **Cloud Data Ingestion & Transformation (CDIT)** team. Braze is a genuinely approachable, kind, and passionate place—where we set high standards, champion teamwork, and create work-life harmony as we grow globally with a focus on greater equity and opportunity. --- ## What you’ll do - Join the **CDIT** team, which owns systems that help customers quickly and successfully integrate their data with the Braze platform. - Work across two main product areas: - **Cloud Data Ingestion**: enable customers to leverage data in their cloud warehouse within Braze. The system processes **trillions of data points annually** and integrates with a growing set of Braze features. - **Data Transformation**: customize how data flows from external sources into Braze. - Increase the **comprehensiveness** and **ease of use** of these systems—making a direct impact on customer success and company growth. --- ## Who you are - **6+ years** of full-stack development experience, with strong focus on building **scalable web applications**. While backend is primary, you own features end-to-end and regularly deliver front-end experiences. - Experienced technical leader who drives **architectural decisions** and contributes to **technical strategy**. - Strong understanding of **design**, **data structures**, and **algorithms**. - A **self-starter** with strong communication and organizational skills, with experience working in an **agile** environment. - Willingness to learn the technologies needed to deliver what customers need. **Bonus points:** - Experience building software at scale, handling **high volumes of data and traffic**. - Experience with automated data pipelines, **asynchronous processing**, or **ETL** using tools such as **Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS,** and **RabbitMQ**. - Experience with **Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake**, microservices, and distributed systems. - Familiarity with modern data warehousing (and related ecosystems).
