You'll operate as an owner, shaping both product and technical direction of a system used by sophisticated product teams worldwide. **What You'll Do** • Own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation to production • Drive product direction in partnership with design and product leaders • Build and evolve systems across React, Node.js, and Python at scale • Leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate development and iteration • Raise the bar for engineering quality across code, architecture, and UX • Lead through hands-on development, mentorship, and thoughtful decision-making • Move fast on ambiguous problems, delivering customer-facing value **What We're Looking For** • 5+ years software engineering experience (full stack preferred) • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical field • Senior-level scope: led large, ambiguous initiatives with significant business impact • Strong full-stack expertise (React + Node.js/Python backend) • Deep sense of ownership and exceptional product taste • AI-native mindset—actively use cutting-edge AI tools • Balance speed and quality in high-velocity environments • Strong judgment in technical trade-offs and system design **Why Amplitude** • Impact thousands of companies making better decisions • Expand beyond analytics into full digital optimization • Culture valuing ownership, velocity, and craft • Outsized impact on top company priorities **Compensation & Benefits** Competitive pay, equity, 100% employer-paid medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, flexible PTO, parental leave, wellness stipends, and more. **Salary Ranges** (by location) • Colorado/Washington: $165,000–$247,000 • California (outside Bay Area): $165,000–$247,000 • San Francisco Bay Area/NYC: $183,000–$276,000 **Locations:** San Francisco (HQ), New York, Vancouver, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Singapore, Tokyo | Hybrid Amplitude is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
