**Senior Application Security Engineer** **About the Role:** Report to the Chief Information Security Officer and work directly with software development and production operations teams. Architect security tooling and integrate security into the software development process across 10 SaaS platforms. **Key Requirements:** • 3-5 years scripting/development experience (web applications preferred) • 2-3 years cloud engineering experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS emphasis) • Familiarity with Claude AI and agentic AI for automation • Knowledge of OWASP, OWASP ASVS, S-SDLC, and BSIMM • NIST and HIPAA experience a plus • Excellent judgment in assessing and prioritizing technical risk • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences **What You'll Do:** • Lead security initiatives and enhance application development processes • Conduct penetration testing and code reviews • Lead and mature vulnerability management programs • Create and maintain threat models • Leverage AI to automate workflows and build efficiencies • Work with developers on secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation • Develop source code analysis projects • Support security training and incident response **6-Month Goals:** Influence dev teams, understand SDLC, define target state for security tools, map vulnerability management **12-Month Goals:** Coordinate pen testing, build stakeholder support, drive tooling integration, reduce security tech debt **Benefits:** Unlimited PTO • Competitive health coverage • 401k matching • Paid holidays • Volunteer time off • Paid parental leave • Remote work stipend **Compensation:** $125,000 - $145,000 OTE **Location:** Remote
