About this role
**Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions (AHS)** is seeking an **Interface Development Manager** to lead a small, focused interface development team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining direct technical ownership of healthcare interoperability with formal people management. ## What you’ll own - Lead a small interface development team (hiring, performance reviews, career development, and day-to-day technical direction) - Design, build, and support **HL7 v2.x** and **FHIR** integrations, including **SMART on FHIR** authorization flows - Connect AHS, **Praxis Health**, and **Interpath Laboratory** systems with EMRs, clearinghouses, lab instruments, and external partners - Modernize existing interface tooling and processes (including reducing integration turnaround time for new clients/partners) - Champion **AI-assisted development** practices (mapping, validation, documentation, testing) with rigorous human review for anything touching **PHI** - Partner with the Software Development Manager, clinical operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize work against organizational goals - Establish and maintain **data-quality, security, and compliance** standards consistent with **HIPAA** ## Pay & schedule - **$130,000 – $165,000 annually** (depending on experience) - Standard hours: **8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST** (flexible as long as core hours **8:00 AM – 3:00 PM** are covered) ## Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision (in-network + custom network discounts) - **401(K)** with discretionary employer match - Paid Time Off - Free clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in house ## Qualifications - **5+ years** of **.NET/C#** development experience - **2+ years** in a team lead / tech lead / people-management capacity with direct reports - Direct, hands-on experience with **HL7 v2.x** messaging and clinical data exchange - Direct, hands-on experience with **FHIR** and **SMART on FHIR** (app launch + authorization flows, e.g., OAuth2/UDAP, CDS Hooks) - Comfortable with **both HL7 v2.x and FHIR/SMART on FHIR** (not one or the other) - Experience delivering software in **healthcare** or another **regulated** industry - Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., **Claude**, **GitHub Copilot**) daily, and interest in expanding that practice across the team - Preferred: hands-on experience with **InterSystems IRIS for Health** (current interface engine) - Other valued experience: Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, EMR/EHR integration, SSRS/Power BI ## About AHS Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is part of a family-owned and operated healthcare organization providing collaborative support and corporate oversight across its family of companies.
