**Software Engineer — New Grad (2027)** SingleStore Software Engineers are at the forefront of real-time technology, working in fast-paced release cycles throughout the year. You’ll collaborate across teams to maximize impact, own projects end-to-end, and contribute throughout the product life cycle—partnering with engineers who are invested in your growth. You’ll also work as a business partner, exposed to areas of the company including product, marketing, and sales. **Role & Responsibilities** - Work on small, collaborative teams to drive the company forward - Contribute to new and existing projects deployed into production each release - Build and improve systems across areas such as: - LLMs and vector indexes - Fault tolerance for SingleStore clusters - Accelerating SQL query performance (e.g., SIMD, LLVM codegen) - Search and costing modules for the query optimizer - Write and test software, gaining a strong understanding of both the product and the business **Required Skills & Experience** - B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field - Strong CS fundamentals, especially operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures - Strong programming skills in **C++ or C** - Passion for building highly reliable software - Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures **About SingleStore** SingleStore is a cloud-native distributed SQL database unifying transactions and analytics to power real-time, data-intensive applications.
