Building at Webflow requires grit: we move fast without sacrificing craft or quality. **About the role** We’re looking for a **Senior Technical Educator** to help create best-in-class video, written, and hands-on education content for Webflow customers—and for those who want to define the next phases of the web. You’ll present on camera as a developer educator, and you’ll build production-grade Webflow sites used in our education videos and courses. **Location & employment** - **San Francisco HQ (Hybrid)** - **5–10 days/month** in-office (depending on recording schedule) - **Full-time, Permanent, Exempt** - **Reporting to:** Director, Education Video **Compensation** - Base pay range (United States): **$120,800 – $145,000** (zone-based; final base pay depends on location and job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills) - Eligible for Webflow’s **company-wide bonus program** (target is a % of base salary; varies by career level) **What you’ll do** - **Build reference websites** that anchor Webflow University courses, tutorials, and live training—real, production-quality sites and components that hold up to scrutiny from developers and designers. - **Shape technical curriculum** with instructional designers and video producers—scoping what each lesson must demonstrate and why. - **Present technical content on camera** for tutorials, course lessons, and live sessions—walking through code and craft with clarity. - **Collaborate with video producers and instructional designers** through pre-production, shooting, and review so what’s on screen enables learners to do the work. - **Serve as technical subject matter expert**—reviewing content for accuracy and pressure-testing it against how people actually build. - **Keep the technical library current** as the platform evolves—identify what’s stale, what needs rebuilding, and what’s newly worth teaching. - **Partner with product and engineering** to understand what’s coming so education is ready at launch. **About you (requirements)** - **4+ years** experience in technical education and web development/design - **Fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript**—read/write comfortably and explain what it does and why - **Fluency using AI** to write, review, and refine code (especially HTML/CSS/JavaScript) - **Expert-level Webflow + web development proficiency**, with a portfolio of sites/components you’ve built - Demonstrated experience teaching technical concepts to mixed audiences via **video, documentation, courses, workshops, or community work** - Willingness and ability to **present on camera** (from an outline/script; studio or home setup) **You’ll thrive if you…** - Build things to understand them (not just to ship) - Can address multiple audiences (visual developers, engineers, marketers) - Treat on-camera feedback as craft input - Enjoy collaborating across technical and non-technical education teammates - Are passionate about learning and helping others succeed - Are comfortable showing both the “messy middle” and the polished result - Stay curious and open to growth—proactively embracing AI and emerging technologies **Core behaviors** - **Build lasting customer trust** - **Win together** (success is a team effort)
