Anduril’s family of systems is powered by **Lattice OS**, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. **About the Team (Maritime Division)** The Maritime Division builds software and hardware solutions for next-generation autonomous systems in the maritime domain. The team architects a **system-of-systems** that combines and orchestrates disparate sensors and platforms to deliver coherent effects for end-to-end autonomous missions. **About the Job** Software Engineers independently drive delivery of software integrated into products, including **autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control/decision support**. You’ll demonstrate **end-to-end outcome ownership** at the subsystem or system level and help architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve autonomous platforms across the product lifecycle. **What You’ll Do** - Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with external constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment - Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value - Design and implement scalable software to deliver capability beyond current platforms, with a clear path for architecture/capability evolution - Contribute to Anduril software services with an emphasis on reusable components across product lines - Develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms using a variety of technologies - Help design, implement, and execute development processes for vehicle and mission software (including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation) - Create test and simulation fixtures supporting both software- and hardware-in-the-loop - Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment - Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary engineering team; mentor Software Engineers from diverse backgrounds - Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams (up to 20%) **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience - Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across one or more domains/technologies - Systems/application programming skills: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software & system design - Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems - Ability to work holistically across the software stack through design, implementation, operation, and sustainment - Ability to act as technical owner for a software service (stakeholders, requirements, roadmap, coordination, design/implementation, sustainment, evolution) - Ability to learn/grow while mentoring junior team members and building team cohesion - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active **U.S. Secret** security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience delivering a military mission system - Backend services or embedded software experience in **C++, Rust, and/or Go** - Frontend experience with **TypeScript** and **React** - Experience with horizontally scaled cloud technologies - Embedded software experience, especially in robotics - Modeling and simulation experience - High-assurance safety-critical software experience - Experience across
