We bring voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI into one seamless workspace. --- ## About the role As a **Data Scientist specializing in visualization engineering**, you’ll own the layer where data meets decisions. Aircall’s go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Support, and RevOps) rely on dashboards and data products every day. You’ll design, build, and maintain the reporting layer—from the semantic models underneath to the interfaces people use. This is a specialist role on our Data Science team. You’ll work alongside data scientists focused on forecasting, attribution, and modeling, and you’ll be the person who makes analytical work land with the business. You’ll partner with GTM teams and Data Engineering to improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our reporting ecosystem. --- ## Your mission @ Aircall - Partner with GTM stakeholders to translate business questions into **reliable, scalable data products**. - Build and own reporting in **Looker** (from **LookML** development to dashboard design) powering self-service analytics. - Drive **dashboard performance and reliability** (query optimization, caching strategy, and content hygiene as usage scales). - Contribute to **data governance and certification** so teams trust the right numbers and metric definitions stay consistent. - Build **stakeholder-facing analytical apps** when a standard dashboard isn’t the right answer. - Work closely with **data engineers** to improve the data stack and push fixes upstream into the modeling layer when that’s the better solution. --- ## A little more about you - **2+ years** of hands-on experience in analytics, BI, or data science in a high-growth environment. - Strong **SQL** skills, including the ability to read and optimize queries you didn’t write. - Proficiency in **Python**. - Hands-on **Looker / LookML** experience (building explores and views, not only consuming dashboards). - Strong visualization skills to communicate stories and insights clearly and concisely (we use **Hex** and **Looker**). - Familiarity with data pipeline/orchestration tools (e.g., **dbt**, **Airflow**). - Experience collaborating with data engineering; lakehouse table formats (e.g., **Apache Iceberg**) and distributed processing (e.g., **PySpark**) are a plus. - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex data clearly to stakeholders at all levels. - Curious, action-oriented, and biased toward execution. --- ## Base salary range **$140,000 — $180,000 USD** --- ## Why join us? - 🚀 Key moment to join Aircall in terms of growth and opportunities - 💆♀️ People matter—work-life balance is important - 📚 Fast-learning environment with entrepreneurial energy and strong team spirit - 🌍 45+ nationalities and a multi-cultural mindset - 💶 Competitive salary package and benefits --- ## DE&I Statement At Aircall, diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to our journey.
