Join a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on innovation and customer success. **Responsibilities (An Average Day)** - Support and maintain the security posture of a federal environment using **ACAS** and related security tools - Conduct **vulnerability assessments** and assist with **compliance efforts** - Perform routine scans using **ACAS (Tenable Security Center, Nessus)** to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps - Coordinate with teams to address scan findings and track remediation to ensure timely resolution and compliance with federal standards (e.g., **DISA STIGs, NIST, RMF**) - Apply and verify security patches and system hardening measures per **DoD and federal guidelines** - Ensure availability, reliability, and accuracy of ACAS components - Troubleshoot issues related to **Security Center, Nessus scanners, and related plugins** - Develop and update technical documentation (configurations, procedures, SOPs) - Support system migrations and upgrades to minimize downtime while maintaining security - Participate in incident response actions using ACAS scans and forensic tools (under senior guidance) - Contribute to containment, eradication, and recovery efforts - Work with cross-functional teams to update and improve security procedures aligned to organizational and regulatory requirements - Support internal/external audits by providing evidence of security controls and remediating findings - Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices **Qualifications** - **U.S. Citizen** required - Must hold an active **DoD Interim Secret or Secret Clearance** - Must be certified with an **IAT Level III** certification such as: **CASP, CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, CCSP** *(CASP preferred)* - Hands-on experience with **ACAS Tenable Security Center** and **Nessus** for vulnerability assessment and compliance reporting - Basic understanding of system patching, hardening, and backup/recovery solutions (SAN, NAS) in a mid-sized/enterprise environment - Familiarity with incident response protocols (evidence gathering, forensic analysis, remediation coordination) - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate findings - Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience maintaining documentation - Ability to quickly learn new technology/software to evaluate or assess security functionality **Pay Transparency** - Salary range: **$100,000.00/year – $120,000/year** (final compensation determined by factors permitted by law) **Benefits / EEO** - Comprehensive benefits program including healthcare, paid leave, retirement, insurance, and education/training assistance - **EEO**: Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status
