Since 1998, we’ve delivered superior, long-term results by focusing on what matters most and developing ideas that stand up to rigorous testing. **Your Role** - Design and build business software applications for functions including treasury, trade matching and settlement, portfolio accounting, and fund performance - Contribute to designing the future state of the technology stack for these functions - Build web applications with **C#** and **JavaScript** - Develop business applications using **Angular** or other web frameworks - Code and debug to identify and fix errors/bugs using analytical skills - Use source/version control systems (including **Git**) - Use **AWS** (or other cloud providers) to build, deploy, and manage applications and processes - Leverage containerization technologies (including **Docker**) - Create and manipulate databases using **SQL** and **NoSQL** databases - Develop communication models (messaging and publish-subscribe) for asynchronous application communication - Use testing frameworks (including **NUnit**) for .NET test development/execution - Provide application support for business teams - Answer business user questions about applications and data - Enhance, maintain, and upgrade existing applications - Redesign and rebuild legacy applications to modernize them - Test applications, including creating automated test cases - Follow company best practices for development, testing, and deployment - Peer-review application code - **Telecommuting permitted two days per week** **What You’ll Bring** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 2+ years of experience designing and building business web applications with **C#** and **JavaScript** - Experience using **Angular** or **ASP.NET Core** to redesign and rebuild legacy applications - Experience with source/version control systems (including **Git**) - Experience testing applications, including creating automated test cases **Compensation** - Salary range: **$130,000 – $160,000 per year** **Equal Opportunity Employer** AQR is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO/VET/Disability).
