Anduril’s family of systems is powered by **Lattice OS**, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. **About the Team** Anduril’s **Maritime Division** brings together experts in software, robotics, artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and data analysis to build software and hardware solutions for autonomous maritime operations. The team is fielding next-generation autonomous systems, including an ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth underwater vessel platform and a refreshed maritime vehicle and manufacturing architecture that scales from **“small” to “extra-large”**. **About the Job** Software Engineers contribute to delivering software integrated into Anduril products, including: - Autonomy - Simulation - Data processing - Payload integration - Off-board command and control and decision support You’ll demonstrate **end-to-end outcome ownership** across the product lifecycle—rapidly architecting, designing, delivering, supporting, and evolving next-generation autonomous platforms. **What You’ll Do** - Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with external constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment - Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value - Implement software that delivers capability beyond current platforms, with a clear path for architecture/capability evolution - Contribute to reusable software services across multiple product lines - Develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms using a variety of technologies - Work with a team to iteratively enhance vehicle and mission software, including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation - Create test and simulation fixtures supporting both software- and hardware-in-the-loop - Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment - Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team - Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams (up to **20%**) **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience - Professional experience as a Software Engineer in one or more domains/technologies - Systems/application programming skills (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, software design) - Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems - Ability to work holistically across the software stack through design, implementation, operation, and sustainment - Ability to learn and grow rapidly toward the standard of **Senior Software Engineer** - Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active **U.S. Secret security clearance** **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience delivering a military mission system - Backend services or embedded software experience in **C++, Rust, and/or Go** - Frontend experience with **TypeScript** and **React** - Experience with horizontally scaled cloud technologies - Embedded robotics software implementation/support - Modeling and simulation experience - High-assurance safety-critical software experience - Experience across manufacturing, system acceptance, deployment, and sustainment - Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts **US Salary Range** **$166,000 — $220,000 USD** *Note: Th
