## Zscaler — Senior Information Security Engineer **Location:** Remote (US only) Zscaler accelerates digital transformation with the **Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™** platform—protecting thousands of customers from cyberattacks and data loss by securely connecting users, devices, and applications anywhere. ### Role Join the **Enterprise Security** team as a **Senior Information Security Engineer**. You’ll focus on **Data Protection operations**, implement and operationalize security tools, and continuously improve **alert fidelity** to strengthen security outcomes. ### What you’ll do (Role Expectations) - Implement and provide tuning recommendations for **Data Loss Prevention (DLP)** solutions - Perform periodic reviews of the data protection program and recommend improvements - Partner with business teams to understand where sensitive data lives and what controls are needed to protect it ### Who you are (Success Profile) - Thrive in ambiguity and build the path as you go - Act with ownership and a bias for action—balancing strategy with hands-on execution - Have a growth mindset and actively seek feedback - Bring constructive energy to complex challenges - Work with urgency to deliver high-impact results ### What we’re looking for (Minimum Qualifications) - Curiosity and experience exploring **AI tools**, including integrating new technologies into workflows - Experience with a variety of **DLP tools**, including exfiltration avenues such as **web, endpoint, and email** - Experience reviewing DLP alerts, reducing false positives, and moving controls to **blocking** with minimal business impact - Understanding of data stores (including **cloud and SaaS**) to deploy monitoring and controls ### What will make you stand out (Preferred Qualifications) - Experience with Zscaler security tools, especially **ZIA** and **DSPM** - Automation skills to support data processing and tuning opportunities ### Base Pay Range (US) - **$134,000 — $167,500 USD** (base salary; excludes commission/bonus/equity and benefits) ### Benefits (Highlights) - Various health plans - Time off plans (vacation and sick time) - Parental leave options - Retirement options - Education reimbursement - In-office perks (and more) *Zscaler is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations during the recruiting process.*
