## Configuration Management Analyst — Lead CM (Peraton) ### Responsibilities - Serve as the senior Configuration Management (CM) advisor for assigned national security programs. - Provide expert guidance on configuration control, documentation standards, and baseline management. - Develop, implement, and maintain CM plans, policies, and procedures per Peraton standards and customer requirements. - Identify, document, and control configuration items (CIs) across hardware, software, systems, and documentation. - Lead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs): prepare agendas, manage change requests, and ensure decisions are documented and communicated. - Maintain strict version control to ensure accurate technical baselines for controlled products and deliverables. - Manage and update CM databases, repositories, and tools to ensure tracking and auditability of all CIs. - Conduct configuration audits, discrepancy analysis, and compliance reviews; produce reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Mission Assurance, and Operations to integrate CM requirements throughout the lifecycle. - Ensure documentation, data, and change activities meet corporate, contractual, and regulatory standards in TS/SCI environments. - Mentor junior CM personnel and share best practices, tools, and enterprise CM procedures. - Prepare and deliver executive-level reports on CM status, risks, and metrics. - Analyze design changes to determine impact on product design/function and prepare required documentation. - Design and establish management documentation; authorize release of drawings and software configuration changes. - Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of internally developed and COTS software. - Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure operating parameters are documented, compliant with standard hardware configurations, and logistically sustainable. - Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming/database/scripting languages. - Design and implement build procedures supporting software development and use. - May develop company-wide software configuration standards. - May train software developers on CM tools and software quality standards. ### Qualifications **Required Qualifications** - Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. - Minimum experience: - 12+ years with BS/BA, or - 10+ years with MS/MA, or - 16+ years relevant experience in lieu of BS/BA. - 4+ years of experience in configuration management, systems engineering support, or technical documentation control. - Demonstrated experience leading CM activities in secure/classified environments. - Strong understanding of CM tools, version control systems, and configuration item tracking. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to manage competing priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and maintain disciplined CM practices in fast-paced mission environments. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs. - Familiarity with CM standards/frameworks such as MIL-HDBK-61A, ISO/IEC CM, or CMMI-based processes. - Experience with digital CM tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, ClearCase, Git-based tools, or similar). - Prior Peraton experience or familiarity with Peraton engineering and mission assurance practices. ### Salary Range -
