**Senior Platform Engineer** **About EarnIn** EarnIn is a pioneer in earned wage access, building products that deliver real-time financial flexibility for those living paycheck to paycheck. Our community members access their earnings as they earn them, with options to spend, save, and grow their money without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks. **Position Summary** We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic systems and core infrastructure powering our platform. You'll work across Kubernetes (AWS EKS), GitOps (Argo CD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and our developer portal (Cortex), building AI agents and automation that reduce operational toil and increase platform leverage. **What You'll Do** • AI-Agent Design and Build: Design and operate AI agents in production, following governance patterns for model selection, evaluation, and safety • Technical Execution: Implement agentic patterns for cloud infrastructure, mentor engineers on agentic patterns and LLM integration • Platform Operations: Operate high-availability distributed systems on AWS, use AI-driven observability to catch problems early • Developer Platform: Contribute to our AI-augmented developer control plane (Cortex) with natural language features • Reliability and Documentation: Document agentic architecture and participate in on-call rotations **What We're Looking For** • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 4+ years in cloud infrastructure with large-scale, high-availability distributed systems • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading platform initiatives • Hands-on experience building and operating AI-driven systems in production • Strong AWS knowledge (EKS, Lambda, Bedrock) and Kubernetes expertise • Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Ansible) • Strong observability skills with Datadog • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) • Strong coding ability in Python and/or Go • Plus: Service mesh, GitOps, MLOps/LLMOps, and AI security frameworks **Compensation & Location** Base salary: $228,000–$279,000 + equity and benefits Hybrid in Mountain View (2 days/week in-office)
