Our cloud-based platform connects to 1300+ warehouse operators across North America. **Role Overview** As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a product development team and partner with other engineers to solve real-world problems. Flexe promotes developer autonomy and empowers engineering teams to own a piece of the customer experience. *Hybrid position based in Seattle, WA:* team members are expected to work in-office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with remote work on Monday and Friday. --- **What You’ll Do** - **Evolve the technology at the heart of the business:** architect and implement systems that impact customers directly. - **Facilitate personal and team growth:** work with leadership to establish growth goals and collaborate with engineers scaling the organization. - **Deliver value from conception to release:** partner with customer stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver large-scale technical projects. - **Value a healthy and productive culture:** build resilient systems to minimize support burden and support sustainable growth. --- **Does this sound like you?** - 3+ years of commercial software development experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience) - Experience building systems using **Service Oriented Architecture** or **microservice** design patterns - Experience with reliable cloud-based systems at scale - Team-oriented development mindset and a drive to continuously learn - Tech stack: **Ruby on Rails, Scala, and Kotlin** (training available for the right person with experience in one or more modern languages such as **Java, Go, C#, Python**, etc.) --- **Compensation & Benefits** - **Salary range:** $147,250 to $206,800 (depending in part on candidate location).
