**Staff Frontend Engineer - Portfolio Management (Order Generation)** **About the Role** Join Ridgeline's Trading - Portfolio Management Team as a Staff Software Engineer to build complex, high-quality applications for our Trade Order Management solution. You'll leverage cutting-edge technologies and AI tools to shape an industry-defining platform in a creative, fast-paced environment. **Impact You'll Make** • Apply trading domain knowledge and technical skills to create solutions where design, strategy, and engineering intersect • Participate in the entire software development process, from requirements and design reviews • Shape and optimize a tech stack leveraging AWS back-end services • Create developer-based automation for scalable, high-quality applications • Advocate design and development best practices • Coach, mentor, and inspire teams of product engineers • Own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly • Contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused environment **What We're Looking For** • 8+ years in software engineering with a history of architecting new products and technologies • Expert-level knowledge in Java or Kotlin (preferred) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Demonstrated experience with Design Patterns, OOAD/SOLID principles, and automated unit tests • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex codebases • Excellent communication and collaborative skills • U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship) **Bonus Skills** • Experience with buy-side order management systems • Knowledge of complex financial instruments and valuations • Mathematics background **Compensation & Benefits** Salary: $182,500 - $228,000 (select locations: $200,500 - $251,000) Stock options, unlimited vacation, wellness reimbursements, $0 cost insurance plans **About Ridgeline** Industry cloud platform for investment management, founded by Dave Duffield (PeopleSoft, Workday co-founder).
