## About the Role Air Space Intelligence (ASI) builds mission-critical technology that powers decision-making across aviation, defense, energy, and other critical infrastructure domains. As a **Technical Lead (Defense)**, you’ll lead a small team of engineers while staying hands-on—guiding implementation from design through delivery. You’ll work across both: - **0 → 1**: building innovative products from scratch - **1 → n**: evolving existing systems as they scale You’ll help set the standard for technical excellence in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with platform engineers, domain experts, deployment strategists, and end users. ## What You’ll Do - Lead and mentor a small engineering team while remaining actively involved in implementation - Guide work from design through delivery - Build new products and evolve existing systems at scale - Partner cross-functionally to turn ambiguous requirements into shipped software - Solve real problems that improve decision-making and **airspace safety** ## What We Value - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (we work in **Rust** and **Python**) - Experience leveraging modern **LLM tools** to accelerate development and improve code quality - Ability to partner across teams and directly with customers - Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—driving work to completion - Curiosity and a desire to grow, including learning customers’ domain deeply enough to anticipate needs - Ability to **travel** - Ability to **obtain security clearance** ## Hiring Process We treat interviews as an opportunity to simulate what it’s like to work together.
